Wellspring for Women

Wellspring Living connects a caring community with women seeking a way out of unhealthy lifestyles, promoting healing, wholeness, independence, and family restoration through Biblical principles. Wellspring is a comprehensive change organization, dealing with the body, soul, and spirit. We offer the opportunity for an individualized recovery plan, personal development, and continuing care.

Wellspring Living offers an individualized focus for each participant in the program. The unique mingling of pain, grief and struggle in each life requires us to provide individualized mentorship, counseling, coaching and prayer in order that God can deal with the deep issues of the heart. Each woman in the Wellspring for Women Program is absolutely matchless in her design by God and so must be her healing.

Many of the women with whom Wellspring works have been devastated by drug and alcohol addictions, self-mutilation, depression, working in the commercial sex industry – behaviors mostly stemming from the core issue of childhood sexual abuse.

In order to guide these women through the recovery process, Wellspring coaches provide support and supervision by living in the home. Life on life discipleship is an important value at Wellspring. The lives of our staff and volunteers are the amplification of the truths we teach. Consistent, patient and loving use of teachable moments is our most effective tool in teaching health and wholeness.

Our daily schedule is highly structured to include elements including fitness, group and individual counseling, discipleship classes and time focused on the individual’s presenting issue. The program is divided into four phases. Phase 1 (3 months) and Phase 2 (3 months) are focused on healing from past trauma. Phase 3 (1-3 months) is the time when transition to independent living is begun. During this time, the participant may secure a job and independent housing. During Phase 4, the participant lives off of Wellspring’s campus and checks in for updates.

We desire to see women take steps towards a healthy physical lifestyle, being wise and connected in their community, and being a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ.
